Corinium Museum has temporarily closed access to its galleries from 27th January to 14th February 2020
The Corinium Museum’s is continuing with its exciting HLF funded “Stone Age to Corinium” project to develop the museum’s prehistory galleries and create a new discovery centre and welcome desk. As part of this project the floor in the Hare Gallery will need to be re-laid. Due to its central location we will unfortunately need to close access to the museum galleries whilst the work is carried out.
The Corinium Museum galleries will be closed from 27th January to 14th February inclusively. The Cirencester Visitor Information Centre and the museum shop will remain open during this time.
The galleries will reopen on 15th February for February half term with a week full of activities including a workshop to learn just how revolting Romans were, a chance to make your own Mosaic, guided gallery tours and family activity zones.
The week will culminate in screenings of Downton Abbey at 2.15pm on Saturday 22nd and 23rd February. For more details and booking visit www.coriniummuseum.org.
