Queen Elizabeth II, the UK’s longest-serving Monarch died peacefully on Thursday afternoon at her Scottish estate, where she had spent much of the summer. The Queen came to the throne in 1952 and witnessed enormous social change.
Her son King Charles III said the death of his beloved mother was a “moment of great sadness” for him and his family and that her loss would be “deeply felt” around the world.

In London, and across the country, bells will be tolled at noon today, Friday 9 September, for each year of Queen Elizabeth’s life.

The Harvest Service will still be held this Sunday 11 September at 11am at Park Corner Farm. It will be not only a time to give thanks for the harvest, but also to remember the life and service of Queen Elizabeth II.
A book of Condolence will be placed in St Luke’s Church, Frampton Mansell this afternoon. Both St Kenelm Church in Sapperton and St Luke’s Church in Frampton Mansell will be open for private prayer.
