Cotswold Community Safety Partnership has been awarded £50,000 from the ‘Home Office Safer Streets Fund’, administered by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner. They will be working with Cotswold District Council to identify areas in the district where women in particular don’t feel safe.
They would like to hear from you to help identify areas in the District that feel unpleasant, unsafe and may attract anti-social behaviour. These could be alleyways, underpasses, parks and other places.
The funding will be used to transform some of those areas into more pleasant, looked after and safe spaces.
If you know somewhere in the district, which would benefit from a makeover to look and feel safer for all, please put your suggestions forward in the consultation below.
The consultation can be accessed using THIS LINK from 1st March until 17th March 2023.
