The Tour of Britain Cycle Race, Stage 7, will be coming to Gloucestershire on 9 September 2023, having been cancelled last year due to the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
This is the first full stage to be held in Gloucestershire, starting in Tewkesbury and ending at the historic docks in Gloucester.
The route between Tewkesbury and Gloucester comes through the local villages of Tetbury, Avening, Minchinhampton (emerging at the Ragged Cot) and along the A419 to Cirencester.
There will be plenty of opportunity to see the race from excellent vantage points along the way, and to cheer on the cyclists as they pass. The route is a demanding one with some tricky uphill sections. Don’t miss it!
