Pitchcombe Roadworks – Overnight Road Closures February/March
The road where the A4173 meets the A46 will need to close overnight for ten nights in February and March so contractor, Knights Brown, can give the road surface its final refresh, weather permitting. Street lighting, finishing touches and tidying up on site are planned until mid-March.
Resurfacing works
- Thursday 20 February, 7pm – 6am
- Friday 21 February, 7pm – 6am
- Monday 24 February – Friday 28 February, 7pm – 6am
White lines and street light installations
- Monday 2 March – Wednesday 4 March, 7pm – 6am
The closures will be in place from 7pm until 6am each night and a signposted diversion route will be in place. The council recommends vehicles use the signed diversion as it is suitable for all road users and will help avoid local congestion.
Unfortunately, there is an element of noise with any roadworks, especially with resurfacing; however, this will be kept to a minimum. Access will be maintained to residents/businesses living within the closure area.
